MALAKI

Dirty money buys clean clothes.
No saint robs Peter to pay Paul;
Or apologize & change clothes,
The same amount of times.

When you know their “Truths”;
You [do not] need punchlines.
You just watch out for wolves,
With the Shepherd’s eyes.

  1. This poem should make people think twice about their moral choices. I love the line, “No saint robs Peter to pay Paul;” I think most saints have to rob Peter to pay Paul at some time in their lives – not literally, but making choices about what they buy and what they pay first is essential. Tying this line to dirty money adds a different perspective, though. It makes me think of a gangster movie.
